Connection Status

This window shows the status of your connection. To send and receive messages your X-IM installation must be connected to the X-IM Server; and for this, your computer must be connected to the Internet. This window shows the state of both these connections. The "Re-Establish X-IM Connection" button is only used for diagnostic purposes or in the case of very uncommon problems with the connection.

The remainder of the window shows you the status of incoming and, for the Pro Version, outgoing memos. If you disconnect while memo transfer is in progress, a warning appears and the transfer will continue or restart when you connect again. Once a memo transfer is completed X-IM will alert you according to your alert preferences (see the "Preferences" section). You can then view the memo from the Memo Inbox/Outbox window.
