Starting X-IM

If X-IM is not running you can start it by clicking on the Windows Start menu, then select Programs, then the X-IM group, then X-IM.

Once X-IM is running, you will see the X-IM icon in your system tray. Click this icon to access the X-IM Main Menu, or double-click it to open your Contact List.

By default, X-IM will start automatically when Windows starts. To change this, choose "Preferences" on the X-IM Main Menu, and uncheck the "Automatically start X-IM when Windows starts" option.
