New Features and Fixes for X-IM Version 1.13
- Improved functionality under Windows XP:
- Full support of the XP Styles and XP Themes.
- Fixed display problems under XP
- Instant Messages now include a timestamp from the X-IM server.
- Timestamp is based on the current X-IM Server time, which is synced daily with official time.
- Time displayed indicates when your contact sent the message, regardless of when your computer received it.
- Time of message transmission is displayed in your local time, regardless of the time zone from which the message was sent.
- New options for Message Hot Keys
- You can now use Alt-S to send, and Alt-C to send and close.
- Under "Preferences" you can now select for [Enter] to send your messages.
- Improved Multi-User Support
- X-IM now treats separate Windows Logins as separate users.
- It is no longer necessary to install X-IM in different locations for different users.
- When you install X-IM Version 1.13 under one user login, X-IM is available to all other Windows Logins. Other Windows Logins which access X-IM are treated completely separately, and new accounts are taken through the setup process the first time they are accessed
- When X-IM is installed on multiple computers in a multi-user setting, roaming logins are supported, letting an X-IM user use his account from any computer.
- Display problems fixed relating to non-default Windows settings for "DPI Settings" and "Font Size".
